Based on Bill Bennett´s best selling Camino memoir of the same title, The Way, My Way is a movie about a man walking the 800km Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route in Spain, searching for meaning – not realizing it was right in front of him, one step at a time.
Jackson Milas is an internationally award winning composer and multi-instrumentalist based in Sydney, Australia. Formerly based in New York City & London, Jackson's latest project, The Way, My Way, is a love letter to the Camino De Santiago and features a rich and intimate score crafted from an eclectic group of stringed instruments, all hand played by Jackson. "I was inspired by the music of Argentina and Spain. The idea was to use traditional instruments such as the Andean Charango in a non-traditional way to create a sonic landscape. I had total freedom, and that's thanks to the director Bill Bennett for allowing me to be myself".
Featured track Somewhere Along the Way by Dan Mullins, is fast becoming the worldwide anthem for anyone who walks the Camino Trail. This song is feaured in the closing credits of the film The Way, My Way.
