Matriarch Ruth (Conroy), a doting new grandmother, awakens to thereality of her non existent relationship with her Russian lover and boss, while Claire (Ambrose), the rebellious teenage daughter, tries to find happiness and herself in art school. Also, now that Fisher & Sons is Fisher & Diaz, longtime mortician and new co-owner Federico (Rodriguez) expects to be treated by Nate and David as a partner, not an employee.
